Title: Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Site: Jersey City, NJ/ Remote

Duties:

• Diagnose mental health disorders using ICD-10 codes.
• Develop treatment plans with goals and objectives supported by evidence-based psychotherapy approaches.
• Develop biopsychosocial assessments based on information gathered in intake sessions.
• Keep progress notes that include data, assessment and plan for each session.
• Conduct a minimum of 25 individual, couples and family therapy sessions per week.
• Provide appropriate referrals for patients as needed.

Requirements:

• Master degree in Psychology, or Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor in one of the following states: New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts.
• Knowledge of Human Growth and Development, Social and Cultural Foundations, Counseling Theories and Techniques, Career Counseling, and Professional Orientation to Mental Health, and Trauma and Crisis counseling
• Skills in in the diagnoses and empirically-supported treatments of mental health disorders and the ability to develop biopsychosocial assessments, case conceptualizations and DAP (Data, Assessment and Plan) progress notes.
